The database page for Steve Blaskovich, Jr
I often go back to our childhood days, growing up more like sister and brother. I close my eyes and forever see your smiling face and your sweetness. You're always on my mind and in my heart and no words can express how very much you're loved and missed.
LOVE ALWAYS August 27th, 2002 August 27th is a Special Day to a very Special person. That person is my beloved nephew Cpl. Steve Blaskovich Jr. Steve and I were 3 years apart in age and we were more like a brother and sister than a nephew and Aunt. This is a day I think back to the birthdays we use to share with laughter and joy as well as heartache and tears. We can no longer share those times with Steve and no words can express how much I miss those days. Steve was taken from us on June 8, 1970, in South Vietnam (Hiep Duc) Steve was with Co A, 1st Bn, 46th Inf Rgt, 196th Inf Bde, Americal Division. So just wanted to take a minute to give thanks for the years we were blessed to have Steve with us, and to say no matter how many years or birthdays go by time does not heal the empty spot in my heart left when we lost you, Steve. May God hold you in his arms on this your Special day Aug 27th and all the days to follow.
I love you. *LOVE XO BETTY* (AUNT)

Dear Steve
The day never seems to get easier even after all these years.
Love, Aunt Betty
I welcome all to visit my Memorial website in honor of Steve and to sign the Guest Book on the site. Here you can put a face with the name that appears on the WALL. Aug 27th 2006 Today is your special day, Steve. The day our family was blessed to have God give you to us. What a special day it was. You have brought such love, pride and happiness to us. Seems like only yesterday we lost you in a far off land on 6-8-70 called Nam. Just wanted to let you know you'll never be forgotten and the pain of losing you will never go away. On this Special Day may God hold you in his arms and keep you in his care, Today, Tomorrow and Forever. I love and miss you and will see your beautiful memory is forever alive. My website is in memory of you and lets others get to know what a dear and sweet person you will always remain and to see the love I have for you. God Bless You on this Your Birthday Aug 27, 2006.
All My deepest Love, 27 Aug 2007 August 27th is Steve's special day and our love, thoughts, and memories are with you. What I'd give to be able to see your smile and have our family together once again. You're always on our minds and in our hearts. I have located a few of your brothers in arms from the 196th and appreciate those who help me keep your sweet memory alive. I feel such a bond with them, and know you're proud to call them your brothers. Love you and miss you beyond words and thoughts and love are with you on your Special Day, August 27th. God be with you on your birthday and we know you're with your Dad, brother Kenny and Grandma now.
Love Ya always,
I hope others stop by my site in memory of my beloved nephew Steve and sign the Guest book and show he's not forgotten.
