The database page for Jesse Romero Castro
Jesse Romero Castro, my high school classmate and friend. You are surely missed but never forgotten. We were cruising buddies and Vietnam brothers. I have a memorial of you in my home for my friends and family to know of you. You always made eye contact and smiled with life within you. Great personality and a heart of gold. I salute you for your service to the South Vietnamese citizens and the sacrifice of your life as a soldier of these United States of America. May we both be able to sit and talk with each other again in the heavens above. Your youth was robbed from you but your life follows you. I see your face in the flow of Old Glory and hear you sing in the music of "God Bless America". I have told my friends and children of your short and costly life. They all honor you as I have over these so many years. May we both muster at the gates of Heaven to rejoice in our tour as friends and service for peace.
