I did not know you, but I felt like I did. I joined Charlie Company just after it returned from "Dragon Valley", where you and so many more died. The remaining men of Charlie company spoke of you in terms that can only be described as reverent and respectful. They missed you and by association so did I. I wished I had known you. I hope and trust that your family can take some solace in the fact that you died serving your country.
