James Edgar Sanders "Farmer" was my driver, my friend, and my constant reminder of the debt paid by so few that we all may live in freedom. He was a very kind man that was taken from us much too soon. He has been and will continue to be missed by me and all the members of the 1/5 Recon unit that he most honorably served with.

James was my childhood friend and I still miss him. We spent many hours on Saturday nights there in Kentwood riding from the Triangle Drive Inn to the "Main drag". I love you, James, as long as I am alive your memory will never die. Thank you for your friendship and your sacrifice.
