06 Aug 2006 I remember my brother as having a positive attitude. He was mostly fearless about unknown adventures. I am proud that he was so brave and he believed in what he was doing. I always remember his sweet and charming smile. I will miss him dearly until the day that I die. Myself and rest of his family loved him deeply. He left behind a son who never knew him. I believe his faith in God sustained him right up to the end. In one of Tony's letters to our mom, he said that several times as he sat in his foxhole, as the incoming mortars were coming in and bullets were hissing over his head, he would look up at the pretty blue sky above, and he could feel the presence of God with him, and then he did not feel afraid after that, but would look up and smile. A Note from The Virtual Wall On 15 Oct 1969, while operating in Quang Tri Province, "A" Company, 1/11th Infantry, lost two men to enemy fire - SP4 Tony E. Seay and PFC Bobby Baxley of Fayetteville, NC.
