Fred's initiative, zeal, sound judgment and devotion to duty have been in the highest tradition of the United States Army and reflect great credit on him and on the military service.

He was very devoted to us, his brothers and sisters,
and to Mother and Dad.
I have have such fond memories of Fred.
He was kind and patient to his younger siblings.

I recall him playing the guitar as I played with my dolls. I felt even as a child of 10 years that his life was taken too soon. Fred was the older brother that everyone would want to have.

From his sister,
Brenda
