I had the great pleasure of knowing and growing up with Glenn Ramey and his sisters. He will always live in our hearts. We appreciate his sacrifice and service to his country.

A Note from The Virtual WallShortly after midnight on 02 Feb 1968 the District Headquarters and Combined Action compounds at Cam Lo received heavy mortar bombardments followed by ground attacks by an estimated two battalions of NVA troops. Artillery and air support was called, but heavy fighting continued until about 6 AM, when the NVA withdrew. Reaction forces from both east and west converging on Cam Lo succeeded in trapping a considerable number of NVA as they tried to cross the Cam Lo River, and sweeps to the south also encountered scattered NVA units. Overall, about 150 enemy troops were killed and over 30 captured - but at least 11 US servicemen were killed in the fighting:
